Bryan Simonson got their new logo design by running a design contest:
What does liberty look like to you? Design a modern logo for a state senate candidate!

Minimum Government. Maximum Liberty.
I am a Libertarian candidate running for state senate in Washington's 41st district. My candidacy is all about taking the people's power back. It is for those who realize that the two major parties have turned their back on them, effectively disenfranchising them. It it for liberals who have realized the Democratic party isn't doing enough to end poverty. It is for conservatives who have realized that the Republican party loves big government. It is for the huge part of the population that is both fiscally conservative and socially liberal. It is about finally giving the people a voice in the state of Washington.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication. Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Bryan Simonson collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
