I created what would normally be a seven-day long logo design contest on 99 designs. It has been my experience that most designers save their best work for the third day of the contest, in order to be selected as finalists. Imagine my surprise when Locked created THE PERFECT logo less than 24 hours after my project posting. Locked's designs are highly creative and polished. I could tell that Locked read my project specifications carefully and delivered accordingly. "All the people -portrait photography" Target market in order: model portraits, professional/corporate portraits, portraits of individuals doing what they love to do, portraits of family/couples/children. Male/female clients are 50/50. Most in the 20-40 age demographic. Style of photo is modern, with use of latest flash and natural light setups. Logo should bring to mind professionalism, energy, fun, high artistic ideals, and love of life. Ideally logo should work on its own and as watermark.

I attached some photo portfolio images to show the kind of style and clientele I usually target. I want someone in my target demographic to see the logo and say I can hire this photographer - they are artistic, fun, professional, good with people, and can get the job done. The logo should say this photography product is creative, cool, and has a human touch on a technical skill. Thinking outside the box is good - avoid cliches with cameras, film, aperatures. Avoid floral patterns. Some use of negative space is nice. Avoid being too literal with emblem. Simple, abstract = good.
