Billing17 got their new magazine cover by running a design contest:
Help The Charming Rogue with a new magazine cover
Check out Billing17's Magazine cover contest…
Until now I have focused solely on dating advice for men but want to expand this into a magazine format that would be more of a male lifestyles type magazine covering topics like fashion, travel, adventure, tech stuff, etc
What's your vision?
I am looking to design a template to use for a Apple Newsstand magazine I will be publishing. It will be geared at men and focusing on dating and relationships, but also branch out to other topics. I would like it to look hip, fresh, cutting-edge...and potentially sexy. It won't be exactly like Maxim, maybe more like Ask Men but either of those sites are in the same vein. I will be attaching some templates others have done that you can use as examples. But your mission (should you choose to accept it) will be to make them look a LOT sexier and appealing to men. I have also included a logo used for a different site that I would liket the heart part incorporated into the cover design, though feel free to make it look even more stylized as you see fit. (This Magazine will be called The Charming Rogue, though)
This magazine will be targeted at men between the ages of 18 and 45. Single. Looking for more out of life. They're looking to make changes in their lives and I'd like the design to appeal to that demographic
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Magazine cover starts at $429.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Billing17 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
