How WDove started their app design journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
The app will allow people (particularly students) to review/study important information to help them learn material. It will act similar to a notecard review app where information is stored in categories and students can study by reviewing these note cards.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
- I'd like the app to have a light, modern, and professional look.
- The userbility should be as simple and straightforward as possible.
- Feel free to implement your creativity
Colors to AVOID
- I don't want yellow, orange, or purple to be the main color theme. It can be used but I don't want it to be the main color.
Haven't decided yet but may use: Drip Note
The app launches with a brief "intro" page that has the logo of the app and then automatically goes to the main screen which will be the Dashboard page. From there, the student can access a current category. From the dashboard, they can also click the bottom row button that says STUDY to jump into reviewing notecards. Once the student is on the Dashboard page and clicks a category/deck, they then enter that deck with sub-categories. For example category is chemistry and sub-categories: "Equations" ... "Chapter 1" .... "Periodic Table"". A student can then click on either sub-category to enter that particular sub-category where they will find their specific notecards that pertain to that particular sub-category. The + on a page is for a student to add a new category or notecard. There will be a circle next to most items which will signify which item they want to include in a study deck. It'll be white or light grey. When they click it, will change a color to signify that item is included. To add a new notecard, the page (see sketch titled "ADD A NOTECARD" will have a big text box where the student can add text, picture, etc. and this will become a notecard. There will also be an area to signify the card as HIGH YIELD. These cards will be in their own deck so when clicking HIGH YIELD in the bottom row (serves as menu), they'll be taken to a separate page that lists all of the high yield notes. See picture "HIGH YIELD".
