Jeffwboyd got their new other art or illustration by running a design contest:
Stuffed animal illustrations for a Childrens book!
Check out Jeffwboyd's Other art or illustration contest…
My daughter and i are making a book about the adventures of her two favorite stuffed animals. We've already written the adventure and we're now looking to add some illustrations to accompany the story. We think the best place to start is to get both her 'animals' into an illustration.
What's your vision?
We're looking for an illustration of each animal that can be used throughout the book. Each animal goes through a few different emotions as the story progresses and therefore we will need a few different illustrations for each animal to reflect their varying emotions. Benny - Sad and hurt. Crying Giraffe - Curios and concerned as he checks on his friend Benny - 'normal' no overt emotion as he walks and has a few normal conversations. Giraffe - 'normal' no over emotion as he floats around and has normal conversations. Benny - Really happy as he gets some ice cream Giraffe - Really happy as he gets ice cream Giraffe - Neutral as
Benny doesn't 'talk' so it's our hope the illustration of him that is 'normal' is a blank canvass (so to speak). Also, the picture I'm attaching of him is very bad (he's 40 years old). For the illustration we don't want him to have the rip in his head of lint on him. We do want him to have his name tag but only with a 'B' in it. The giraffe 'talks' a lot, is high energy, almost always happy and gregarious. Also, the 'giraffe' is more of a blanket than an actual giraffe. He gets around by floating (therefore no need for legs).
