Pocket Tunes Radio - http://www.normsoft.com/products/ip…ckettunes/
We are the creators of Pocket Tunes, the premiere audio player for mobile phones and PDA's. Pocket Tunes Radio is one of the most popular music applications in the iTunes App Store. We are looking to add even more value for our customers. One of the ways we are planning on doing that is offering more skins so they can change the look. So we are looking for great skin designs that we can add to the package.
Our target audience is basically any iPhone or iPod touch user. Both existing Pocket Tunes Radio customers and also potential customers. We want skins that will attract people to our product and encourage them in choosing Pocket Tunes Radio as their internet radio application. Generally iPhone users want something that looks very professional and yet pleasing to the eye. However at the same time it should be functional and any screen controls be obvious in what function they serve. You can look at special designs as well. For example you can base your design on a theme (e.g. steampunk, sci fi, crystal, color schemes etc). Or you can base it on a function, e.g. a skin designed for use in a car, or a skin for very bright environments, or one for night when you might want a muted screen, it's up to you. We do want the skins to be flexible so if you decide on a specific theme or function, it still should be usable in other environments as well.

Eye candy is good as long as it is also brain friendly (i.e. does not take much thinking to know what the buttons are for etc)
Here are the buttons and areas you will need to account for:
1. An Area for kbps and format
2. A current song/station area.
3. A "Play station in background" area.
4. An area that shows the current recording running time.
5. A playlist area.
6. A volume bar.
7. An "Add to favorites" button.
8. A start/stop Record button.
9. A skip forward and skip back button.
10. A Pause/Play button.
11. An iTunes search button.
When a user plays back a recording, Pocket Tunes has a slightly different display. The “Add to favorites” and iTunes search icons are replaced by the scan buttons. For that screen, you need to add:
12. An area that shows current playback running time.
13. A scan back and a scan forward button. Each time user taps this button Pocket Tunes scans back of forward 15 seconds
See attached file for more specific info on all of the above as well as screen shots to illustrate the functions.
