This designer was awesome! I just loved the work, communication and his willingness to change the subtitles and such. Will definitely hire again!
Great work. Really fast and good work. I love it. Thanks a lot. Markus
An absolute pleasure working with him. There were around 8 members of the committee who wanted to see the final design in many different ways, and he was very patient with us to the end.
The design was very professional and just perfect. Something that had the Students, Staff and Academic's in mind.
Will definitely work with him again.
66/design was the first to post his entries and I knew immediately that I'd be happy to use his work. I was so confident that I guaranteed my contest. Keeping an open mind, we looked at many other entries also, but kept coming back to his. Ultimately, we polled friends and colleagues and our opinion was confirmed: his work was best! His follow-up after being chosen winner has been excellent. He made final tweaks and communicated regularly. A very professional designer and one I'm sure I'll use again!

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for an ebook cover for I Am Alive!: A United States Marine's Story of Survival in a World war II Japanese POW Camp, by U.S. Marine Sergeant Major Charles R. Jackson. Edited by Major Bruce H. Norton, USMC (Ret.). You can view the original book here: http://amzn.com/0345449118. We cannot use this cover design for contractual reasons and need a new one. The challenge here is to find an appropriate image from the WWII image in the Pacific. We do not have rights to the original image (and do not know the source).
The cover should be engaging when viewed in the thumbnail view at online booksellers, and not just full-sized. I am attaching the logo for Quadrant Books, which should be positioned top left or bottom left. It should not be overly prominent.
Because the memoir is by a US Marine, using the Marines' red and gold colors may be helpful, but as the story is a somewhat bleak one, don't get too cheery.
The colon between the title and subtitle should not appear on the cover, as the sub-title should be below the title. Please do not incorporate the US Marines logo, as that is covered by trademark when used for commercial purposes.
