A couple of years ago, I (Pete) came on here and started a competition to design a logo for my fledgling race team, LuckyP Racing. The results were fantastic and I sellected a design which I used on my Toyota MR2 MkII race car, our team clothing - hats, shirts and jackets. I entered the 2009 MR2 Championship (looking far better than my driving skills were) but I managed to win the novice Championship!!
Here is my website http://www.luckypracing.com
It's time to take it on a level.
I have a 1993 Porsche 911 964 Carrera 2 in black and will be converting it to Porsche Club Championship specification to compete in 2012 Championship.
Here is the Championship site:
I love Porsche. I love Porsche Motorsport heritage.
I want to do justice to the 964 traditional shape, to make the most of the glorious headlamp/front wing unit, the sexy rear 3/4 arches and the iconic sillouette. I basically want to try and create stunning graphics which stands head and shoulders out from the grid, will draw attention to the car and LuckyP Racing and generally be a credit to you, me, and the Championship. There have been some fantastic race car designs over the years, many on 911s. This is your chance to see your design battling in the thick of it in the UK Porche Club Championship.
I have full confidence that you'll achieve it!!

People who appreciate a good well thought out and executed design.
The car will compete for LuckyP Racing. The logo design you guys came up with is brilliant. I want to incorporate this on the vehicle so that the logo LuckyP Racing (see attachement or previous competition) can be seen from the side, the front, the roof and maybe the rear.
The LuckyP Racing colours are: Black/Orange/Red/White.
I like black and orange the best, the white and red should be used tp outline or detail.
Would consider is silver, but not in large blocks. Just lines etc.
The car is black. I'd rather not want to respray the car, well not all of it. Maybe just the front/rear bumpers, the mirrors or the bonnet.
Thoughts have been a design in the style of the MARTINI stripes but in LuckyP Racing colours. The graphics will be done by Creative FX:
I love the 911 shape, and I really want to excentuate the iconic shape, the width of the rear and the beautiful headlamps/wings.
Optical illusions are cool and anything that draws attention to it.
Also it's a race car. I want it to look cool, purposeful and coiled up ready to pounce!! It sould look like it's going 120mph even in the garage!!
We need to remember that there will be a white panel for the race number (66) on either door and the bonnet.
Anyway, that's enough.
I'll comment in the evenings as an when I can. I know that giving a good steer is the key!
