I am a chef in Seattle but my home, that I miss and love, is New Orleans, LA. I live and breath the New Orleans hospitality and of course good food, mostly the street food ie: Po-Boys, Muffulettas, Beignets and good coffee. This Spring, I am starting a food truck here in Seattle that will feature all of my favorite street food from New Orleans. Food is my life and passion and nothing sums it up better than the New Orleans saying, "Most people eat to live but in New Orleans we live to eat!" (would like this used on the truck)
I am fun, out-going, and spontaneous. I know what I want and go after it. I think that my food is amazing but not pretentious. My food is clean, simple, fun and sometimes bold.
The name "Where Ya At" is a phrase used in New Orleans to mean, how are you or how are you doing. I like it for that reason as well as the fact that we are a kick a%s mobile food business and people will wonder where we are located day to day. My website will be http://www.whereyaatmatt.com. Matt coming from my name Matthew, of course!
