Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a university research centre. We carry out research and train students on how to design and operate better chemical processes (looking at economic, environmental, societal sustainability). Most of our work is computer-based, constructing mathematical models and developing decision-making tools. Website: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/cpse
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want a manifestation / artwork to transfer onto glass panel(s) which will be part of the entrance to the Centre for Process Systems Engineering. The dimensions of the glass panels are attached - we are open to artwork that goes across all four panels or a subset of them.
Other notes
Some of the key features of the Centre are collaboration (it involves 34 academics in two universities), fundamental research (we are world-leading in our area) and application to practical problems (we work with industry and other stakeholders).
