We are looking for a graphic / visual representation of LRDG’s language learning methodology (for learning French or English as a second language). The purpose is for customers to easily understand how our language methodology works without having to read pages and pages of information. We are looking for a smart, concise and understandable graphic.
LRDG'S LEARNING METHODOLOGY
The learning content is available in 2 formats: DVD and ONLINE. Both DVD and ONLINE programs consist of 15 levels of difficulty and allow a learner to master the French or English language. LRDG’s methodology consists of 3 elements:
SELF-STUDY + TUTOR SUPPORT + PORTAL
Here’s how it works:
1- Learners study by themselves (called self-study) with DVD or/and ONLINE language program.
2- A tutor on the phone checks the learner’s progress and guides him/her throughout the learning process. The notions and ideas that were studied in self-study mode are reviewed and the student practices oral communication skills with the tutor.
3- A management and reporting system monitors learners’ activities (online Portal).
We are looking to show in a simple way that learners can study from both the DVD and ONLINE programs and achieve the required language level. The requested graphic must contain and show the interaction between the following items:
• Representation of both DVD and online programs
• The tutor support
• The online management system (Portal)
The DVD and ONLINE programs must be represented by a stairway (consisting of 15 stairs which will be made clickable eventually) and representing the 15 levels of language difficulty), probably 2 parallel ones, since both lead to the top (language acquisition). In between, we find the tutors and the Portal that are always there to support learners in the language acquisition process. We are open to other ideas as we understand that this is a challenging task.
Please refer to the attached drawing for ideas (very amateur but hopefully it helps some).
