Who are you known as?
BEAM, Stanford Career Education
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
BEAM, Stanford Career Education, helps students transform their educational interests and ambition into meaningful work. Students can learn from their peers, tap into their career community, or learn from over 3,000 alumni who want to help the next generation of Stanford students succeed.
To do this, BEAM builds programs that enables students to build connections through mentoring, networking, and experiential education. These programs receive both funding from the university and directly from donors. For that reason, we are creating this document to showcase our programs and appeal to donors for additional funding.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Stanford University’s career center (known as BEAM) is creating a guide for the Development office to distribute to university donors who may be interested in funding BEAM’s initiatives. The guide will be published as a 3-5 page document that will live online as a PDF and can be printed.
This brochure is being created for Stanford University’s Development team, who will share the document with alumni and past donors who are interested in supporting the university through donations. Alumni and donors range in age, but share a deep commitment to the university and are interested in financially supporting programs that benefit students.
