Languages.lu is a language school located in Luxembourg city which provides tailor made tuition for adults in companies, as well as children camps during the school holidays. Since 2015 we develop learning materials for the Luxembourgish language.
Our target audience for the product we're developing is mainly professionals who work in Luxembourg and would like to get familiar with the Luxembourgish language, one of the 3 official languages, in addition to French and German. The majority speaks either French or English, very often both. https://www.languages.lu/learning-materials
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Post-it in Luxembourgish: 2 packages of 50 Post-its the standard format 71 x 71 mm in different colors, each post-it with a word in Luxembourgish (objects from the different rooms of the house) and a small image of the object related to the word. The writing should be black only. The post-it should include the name of the product and the name of the school Languages.lu. Depending on the space/ design we could include the gender and the plural form of the word.
The packaging of each pack of 50 post-its is plastic, which means that the 1st post-it is visible to customers and the back paper should be used to communicate info about the product and to offer 1 month free to our mobile App "365 days Luxembourgish".
Example of words to be used:
eng/d’Fënster (fem, d’Fënsteren) - which means window
eng/d’Dier (fem., pl. Dieren) - which means door
eng/d’Mauer (fem., pl. Maueren) - wall
eng/d’Taass (fem., pl. Tasen) - cup
The post-its should be catchy and the words written on them visible from 1-2 meters.
