Our company builds technology for real estate investors--"house flippers". Our flagship product (called R.E.I. Rail) is a phone technology that provides them with critical personal and property information about a caller instantly. So by the time our customer answers the phone they have the data they need to build rapport quickly. Imagine doing a marketing campaign to homeowners, and then when people call to respond to your ad, you're able to see their occupation, where they went to school, pics of them from social media and details about their property. Now what?? Armed with all that info, you SHOULD be able to guide the call much better and have a more engaging conversation. But not if you're uncomfortable or inexperienced on the phone... Our product solves the data problem. This podcast solves the 'now what?' problem. Our target audience for the podcast are the house flippers who already know about us. They are 25 - 45, and skew male (65%). Currently our top selling markets for our product are Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte (NC), and Washington, DC PLUS... We believe there's a larger market that the podcast will appeal to, namely anyone who is interested in business, and investing. Cover Art should appeal to a cosmopolitan crowd in terms of its sophistication. In terms of interests, we are targeting folks who would call themselves 'hustlers'. They're entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs. They're into Gary Vee and Tony Robbins. They listen to hip-hop and pop music.
What's your vision?
We are creating our first podcast and need cover art and a background banner. The show is ostensibly about how to negotiate real estate deals. But the sales and negotiation techniques we teach are applicable in nearly any business where people negotiate over the phone. It's a very original format that we are calling a "podcase" because each episode is a case study inside a podcast. We, the founders, listen to a sales call by a selected customer and then workshop the call with them, pointing out things they did well or coaching them on areas where they could improve--and increase their chance of closing the deal. The design of this podcase cover need not reflect our actual product. The idea of coaching or education or sales wizardry would be appropriate since that's what the show is fundamentally about. It all happens over the phone --and our product is phone based-- so incorporating that into the visual imagery would be appropriate as well. But again, not necessary.
The working title of the podcast is "Do We Have a Deal? The REIRail Podcase Experience" Looking for a creative way to convey the essence of what the show is. Pods that I think have done a nice job of this: Crime Junkies, My Favorite Murder, 99% Invisible. Their cover art illustrates a theme or idea of the pod without depicting literally. Attaching our logo below. It needs to be visible (even if not prominent) on the cover.
