Design a Simple Carpet Brochure !

Hello designers, this is Nishant.

Okay so I work in a family business, Indo Designer Rugs. We've been around for a very long time, since 1988. Since that time we have designed a new carpet care brochure only once. This will be the 2nd time.

Now this is a very classy shop. But at same time as a company culture we are easy going, relaxed. So we'd want something that is simple but also elegant, clean.

We deal with people who appreciate art, and really into home decor. Older folks 35-55 and older. This is just for customers who have already purchased. They usually have this brochure under their new carpets and pull it out when the accident happens. So must be a easy, fast read.

Its going to be for an 8.5 x 7 inch brochure (2 sides front/back).

Side One
I’d like to have a night shot of our shop. It should include the company name and the slogan: “handmade works of art”. Be creative. Our logo and that night shot is attached.

The front needs to include contact information - address, telephone number, website and store hours, please include est. 1988 for credibility.

Side Two

Please see attached our old brochure information.
I’d like the First Aid for Stains information to be there. How to show it is up you! Be creative. Please ignore the information that is marked x across it.

I also want to include 4 photos that show what to do if there is a spill. These are the captions for each photo

1. SCOOP up solids before cleaning

2. BLOT
as much liquid as possible using white towel or paper towel

3. CLEAN
Refer to the first aid for stains chart for instructions

4. BLOT DRY
with absorbent material such as paper towel.
