We have an image and feel free to experiment with it for the cover. It could be seen through looking in from a window as an idea, or use your imagination. You can also create a designed cover without it. The message in the picture denotes several messages to the reader which can be interrupted as, a long climb ahead, or wonder what the future holds, etc. The book will ALSO be in doctor's offices. We tend to lean more towards book covers that have more of a clinical tone, yet friendly and welcoming. The back of the book should have room on second half of bottom for a picture of author and the upper half should have the blurb about the book which is in this communication.
The design should look provocative to a potential reader, incite some curiousity, and give a professional and credible impression. We need a cover for a paperback book of 260 pages. This book will be printed through Createspace (amazon) using their cover design template so please review their requirements for a 6x9 book with black and white interior. It also will be going to Lightning Source for cover design so it needs to also meet their requirements. If you need these, please advise. We also need an E-book cover.
