I run Marketing for SMT, the market leader for software that helps geoscientists discover oil and gas. We are announcing a partnership with JewelSuite and CMG that unifies the entire process of looking for oil in a unified solution. So we are looking to create a relatively simple but powerful ad that conveys this message. It will direct viewers to a new website called STSAlliance.com to get more info. The website is not yet created. The full name of the partnership is the Seismic To Simulation Alliance.
We have 2700 customers in 95 nations. Oil and gas is found everywhere. And our audience speaks every language. However, it is comprised of highly technical geoscientists and engineers. And executives at the largest companies on earth will be interested in this announcement. So it must be diverse, professional, and feel like science, not like a pitch.
The ad will run full page, in color. The key magazine is oversized, so there is a lot of real estate. However, the ad should be relatively uncluttered. We want our 3 logos, a mention of the alliance, it's value, and a reference to the website.
Our Ad deadline is soon, so we need this wholly completed by the end of Nov. This ad will run in about 5 different periodicals for an number of months and ultimately run online as well. I can get you sizes later, but they are all full page and in color.
We have the rough layout attached. But what we really need is a way to keep the look clean, but introduce some visual element that gives the image more pop. We are flexible on that. But the main goal is to keep the ad very simple.
