Food & Drink
Description of the product
New beer brand launched for the market in Southeast Asia. brand name is Pango, named after the pangolin, an endemic endangered animal. We are targeting millennials in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. They are used to drinking brands like Heineken or Carlsberg, but they are looking for something new in terms of taste, look and feel. Even though we are producing a craft beer, we want to be perceived as an alternative to the big brands, not as niche. The look and feel of the beer will make you want to drink it amongst friends, at a hip bar, club or on the beach. The design should be modern, bright, hip yet have a luxurious feel to it. Target is both female and male. Drinkers should be proud of holding one of our bottles, as a means of identifying themselves as different. Young – millennial Stylish – could be featured in lists of best bottle designs Luxurious – quality label material, design fits in both bar and restaurant Different – different from mainstream pils. taste according to local craft beer preferences Quality – Belgian brewery in Vietnam, quality ingredients
Description of the product target audience
Millennials in Southeast Asia. Targeting women in particular.
- I need the full label for a 330ml beer bottle. Bottle drawing is attached. final bottle will be slightly different, but you should work with these dimensions. The main label should go on the bottle part with diameter 62.1mm. The label can be rectangular or fit within a rectangular shape, an example I like is Rare batch (inspiration 2) in attachment. - The front of the bottle is what will be visible and hence the most important part of the label. I've provided some examples of designs we like. I don't want too much text on the front. The name, type (IPA or India Pale Ale), ABV 5% and 330ml. - The neck of the bottle should have small label as well. I was thinking to have the Pango symbol there, but not a must - The backside of the label will require all necessary information. I've provided an example for the Singapore market. following information is required: description of our beer (assume same amount of text as picture), bottling date, ingredients, brewing company, import company, barcode, facebook and instagram logos and sitename - three colour palettes are provided as inspiration. white can be used as well. - the bottle will be matte black
What to avoid
Please read the text file on the font! Font is also used in the file Pango-02. DO NOT use font of Pango-03 file.

And then… they selected a winner!
Vladan was the winner of our contest, and we continued to work with him 1-1. He is outstanding to work with. We had NUMEROUS revisions over the course of two weeks, and he completed each one and was extremely responsive. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
