We want this to look like an old whisky label but run and steam punk.
Torched Spirits Candle
Description of the product
Torched Spirts is a new candle line that I am launching and I am not happy with the packaging. It is a candle made from a whiskey bottle laid on its side. It comes in a cool box. I want an awesome label that fits my brand.
Description of the product target audience
Men and women that enjoy interesting and unique home decor.
I am looking for a label redesign for a new product that I want to rebrand. Torched Products is my company. This is whiskey bottle candle. See pictures. I want the label to look like a whisky bottle, but I also want it to convey that it is a candle because it does look slightly confusing to someone trying to understand what it is at first glance. It comes down to two side labels, a back label and a topper which goes on top of the wax to keep the candle from collecting dust and debries. I am very receptive to a different direction from what I currently have, but I want it to be centered around the old whiskey bottle theme.. The candle is called Torched Spirits Bourbon Whiskey, so it needs to live up to its name. Do not be afraid of complicated die cuts or shapes because I take care of all that in-house or at my manufacturing facility. I like the look of the jack daniels label for example, but I need the designer to look at the rest of my candle line (website) and see the overall theme.. this is a COOL CANDLE... not just for guys (even though it is manly) but for girls too. I have many more projects to work on outside of this one, so i am looking for a designer that understands my brand and the direction. Its is supposed to be edgy.. different.. unique and most importantly - a total departure from your regular boring candle. I want it to be fun and interesting but not over the top. I am asking a lot, but this product could be in thousands of stores 6 months from now, so the packaging needs to be perfect. You can see on my website how the candle toppers have the flame that pops up. I still want to do this for the Torched Spirits Candle. It is something that I will keep doing accross my candle line.
What to avoid
Not necessarily... The font we use a lot is Brothers Bold. I don't care what font you use as long as it fits the overall concept and aesthetic I'm looking for. Important - Remeber that I can do a gold leaf look too... the material that we use for the label is practically limitless... so something with a gold foil font on a black background is not out of the question. We can be very creative with the look of the label. Something like this could make it look very high end and cool at the same time. Again, these are just suggestions, and I am receptive to different directions.
The general sizing of the side label and back label are in the AI. file that I attached. The topper with the die cut flip-up flames is exactly the rise size so that cannot be changed, but the rest can slightly get changed. If you have any trouble opening the AI. file I can post it again.
