What's your vision?
Our product will deliver exactly what it says it will. We are looking for a designer capable of marrying classic with fresh and contemporary. Your design will lend a homogenous, balanced look to our product’s retail box. The successful designer will have an understanding of how to convey classic without being stuffy or elitist. The text will be minimal leaving room for color, texture and well placed images to make the sale on the screen. Your retail box design will work with our sales copy to get the quality off the screen and delivered into the customer’s hands to prove our claim. While it will be sold mostly online the engaging box artwork design will achieve success in the following three crucial stages: 1. SELL THE CLICK TO THE PRODUCT PAGE: Grab attention with an eye-catching element when seen as a small image on a white background in a list of other products on the Amazon.com category page. Your design will have the shopper saying: “hey that’s different….What’s going on there?” 2. SELL THE CLICK TO THE CART: Communicate “premium” and the main keyword “ice ball mold” when seen on the product’s Amazon.com product detail page. At this point we have the shopper’s undivided attention and your artwork will assure them they are about to make the right choice and buy a world class brand and a premium product. Have the shopper saying: “You can tell a book by its cover and this cover is exactly what I need!” 3. SELL THE WORD-OF-MOUTH TESTIMONIAL: Confirm upon delivery that our customer made the right purchase decision. When the shipping box is opened your design will sell them on our product’s quality before the even use it. Leave the customer saying: “Nobody would sell crap in this killer packaging!” Then our product delivers as advertised and the customer raves to others, enticing them to buy as well. The images referenced below can be found in the .zip file ART LAYOUT Die Cut Box Pattern: "2unit-carton-panel-layout.png" This will give you an idea of where the art will wrap on the 87mm x 87mm x 165mm retail box. Suggested Layout Concept: "Retail Box suggested-concept.png" Old Art Layout Version: "old-carton-concept-artwork.png" CARTON BACKGROUND TEXTURE We are open to neither or either concept light or dark. Our idea (yours may differ) is to use the ice as visual texture for the box and immediately suggest ice to the consumer. One concept is to present the box as an 87mm x 87mm x 165mm rectangular block of ice. Your design would shade on edges where the box folds. We will purchase the relevant stock image if required. Dark Ice Option: "carton-backgroun-style-sample-dark1.png" Light Ice Option: "carton-backgroun-style-sample-light1.png" Retail Box Assembled Shape: "retail 2 unit carton.png" BACK PANEL A simple full panel display of the Baile Housewares logo. Feel free to be creative with how it blends into the design. We don’t need to beat anyone over the head with this element. Baile Company Branding: "baile-wrdmark-icon-tagline.png" LEFT PANEL Even though this is called “LEFT PANEL” we feel this will be the design’s focus. The “FRONT PANEL” will focus on the actual product through a die cut window in the box cardboard material This “LEFT PANEL” will hit the shopper with the main generic keyword “ICE BALL MOLD” and your illustrated realistic clean interpretation of the ice balls in use This is what will make or break the design. Your illustration’s interpretation of how we would like to see the two rocks glasses with ice balls depicted. . Carton Main Image Position: "2rocks_ice-balls-position.png" Carton Main Image Style 1: "rocks-glass-illustration-style1.png" Carton Main Image Style 2: "rocks-glass-illustration-style2.png" BOX TOP PANEL Pretty simple - the product’s “Glacier Spirits™” logo with “premium ice ball molds” centered underneath. IF you feel you can make the design more homogenous by redrawing the logo please do. Please maintain the integrity of the logo concept when redrawing. Carton Top Product Logo: "glacier-spirits-logo.png" RIGHT PANEL Need to to get imaginative (but we would never stifle imagination) when redrawing the illustrations associated with product use. We need you illustrations to be homogenous with the over all design. Right Panel Text: "right panel text.txt" FRONT PANEL You will see in the old art layout that this text runs down the right side of the panel. Feel free to stay with this concept or show us something exciting and new. Keep in mind there is a die cut window in the center of this panel. Front Panel Text: "front panel text.txt" FRONT PANEL BOTTOM TAB Place a white rectangle on this bottom tab to be used as “quite space” for a UPC code. We may provide the code or have it added at the fulfillment center.
