Other color requirements
Our packaging is color coded by the Refractive Index for easy identification. Blue for 1.50, Green for 1.56, Pink for 1.59, Yellow for 1.61, Orange for 1.67. So it is better (but not imperative) to use only one color.
Lente Visão Simples 1.50 Anti Reflexo (Translation: Single Vision Lens 1.50 Anti Reflex)
Description of the product
We sell lenses for prescription glasses. These lenses have different attributes we need to specify on the packaging. I will list these attributes by importance: 1. Refractive Index – It’s a decimal number, in this case, 1.50. This is the most important element of the design. If the product was Ice Cream, this would be the flavor. 2. Coating – There are many coating treatments: Anti Reflex, Tintable, Hard Coating, etc. In this case it has Anti Reflex coating. It is a necessary but secondary attribute. Again, if this was Ice Cream it would be something like Sugarfree. 3. Type – There are many types of lenses, like: Single Vision, Bifocal, Trifocal and Progressive (or multifocal). In this case it’s Single Vision. This indicates what the product is, like “Ice Cream”, or “Frozen Yogurt” or “Sorbet”.
Description of the product target audience
The lenses will be used by people with eye conditions, but they will never see the packaging because they will receive the lenses fitted to the frames. Our customers are optic shops and optic labs that buy the lenses inside their packages, take them out of the packaging, fit them in the frames and deliver to the final user.
