1. Attached you will find our current box design and the type of box requiring a design. Keep to the same colors if possible but we're open to other ideas. We do want the packaging to be a big part of our branding so we would like the design to be attractive and memorable. The window shown is the minimum size of the window however the window may be enlarged or shaped to conform with the design.
Looking at the picture showing a wooden box open with bits is the general format of how our boxes and bits are. There are many different types of sets and bits but we just included some samples for you to get a general idea. A document with detailed information is attached. It include all the content for that is to be included in the box design.
Typography, "feature lists" and "set-includes lists", icon styles, logo and title locations are required components of this design. This box design needs to have a lot of info on the box and the challenge is to keep it simple and clean looking. Lean more towards a design that has depth however, flat design will be considered. The product will be held in place with a blister inside the printed box you will design.
2.To match, we also require sticker designs to be applied to our single bit plastic packaging. The highlighted zones on the third image indicate where the sticker placement will be. The overall height of the container is approx. 6" and the height of the bottom sticker is 1-1/4". It wraps around the full circumference of the base of the case.
The flat octagonal sticker with the hole through it should indicate the size of the bit's shaft in this case it is 1/2" - but a sticker for that area is only optional and not necessary - only if it really adds to the over design. There is a double sided insert card as well that will show a diagram of the bit on the back with measurements and on the front branding and category of tool. Details for the plastic single bit case are included in the attached document.
