The brief called for a flowing and feminine design which would signal to potential customers that a Bliss Kit would be a relaxing and restorative experience which would take women away from their everyday concerns. In the original winning logo I used a gift box in the design, but after much discussion with the client, we both agreed that something more symbolic of a transcendent journey was needed. The lotus flower is associated with beauty, purity and spiritual rebirth, so it is perfect for this type of product. I chose to integrate the lotus flower into the type to create a flowing and visually cohesive design which works in both horizontal and vertical formats. The client loves it!
