This was a fun logo to create!
My starting point was to create the logo in a square, or box, as the company name suggests. I then added shadows to the letters to give the impression that they had a 'voice', enforcing the message of news, reporting and broadcasts.
The target audience for the logo was aimed at women aged 34–54, which was the reason for my chosen colour palette: bold, feminine pastels. The colours also represent fun and friendliness.
The logo was finished off with a simple, non-obtrusive font for 'NewsWire', clearly highlighting the nature of the business.
