My attempt was to represent the butterfly as minimally as possible in order to maximize elegance and achieve the goals the client pointed out.

It depicts the butterfly's wings seen from the side, symbolizing the idea of movement, which is typically more representative when viewed from a profile perspective. Alternatively, the icon can be mirrored to produce the butterfly itself. Personally, I prefer the presented version, which in the end was the client's preference as well.
