Custom Performance Engineering (cp-e) makes go-fast parts for street and race cars; RevoZport makes carbon fiber body kits and accessories (cp-e and RevoZport are the main sponsors that are most important); 4-5 other smaller sponsors that make other go-fast parts. Audience: anyone interested in racing and/or highly modified street cars
What's your vision?
Theme: Custom Performance Engineering is one of two main sponsors and is promoting the building of this car as "Project Black Knight", so think full-on racecar, fast, medieval, pissed-off, bad-ass. RevoZport Racing Technology is the other main sponsor. Emphasize these two main sponsors but be creative on how to incorporate the logos of these two main sponsors into a “Black Knight” theme. Color-wise, I really like my satin-black background color of the car (see pics of what it looks like now), but if you have other ideas that would keep the angry, bad-ass feel… I’m open. I’m also open to either keeping the wheels black or going some other color as they can easily be repainted or powder-coated – same with the brake calipers. *Note: The front splitter, roof, trunk, the bottom of the side-skirts, and the wing, are black/gray carbon fiber and will not be wrapped or painted. As for graphics, perhaps an actual knight on a horse with lance, looking as though he’s moving reeeeallly fast, and somehow incorporating him with the logos of my two main sponsors. Or perhaps a knight with a sword (no horse)... I don't know, I have no imagination! However, I’m also open to anything that looks awesome such as skulls, swords, battle-axes, etc. I love the comic-book style bad-ass hero look but I’m also open to more abstract and streamlined as well. I realize that all this, plus the number 51, and the smaller logos, is a lot to incorporate but try not to make it look too busy if possible. Use: The car will be unveiled at SEMA in November, and then featured in numerous car shows, track events, magazines, websites, etc. Logos / Sizing / Placement: 51: this racecar’s number is 51, this should be a 10-inch high number placed towards the forward edge of each door; the number doesn’t have to clash obnoxiously with the rest of the car but it must be somewhat distinguishable from the rest of the graphics; so any color and font style, that works with the theme of the car is fine Custom Performance Engineering: this is typically their larger logo – incorporate 1 on each side of the car and 1 on the hood (as big as makes sense); “cp-e” (2-3 inches high) is typically their smaller logo, keep just 1 on right side of the back of the trunk like it is now; Color – needs to keep some combination of black/white/gray http://cp-e.com/webstore/product-category/cp-e-gear/ RevoZport Racing Technology: this is typically their larger logo - logo – incorporate 1 on each side of the car and 1 on the hood (as big as makes sense); “1M Raze” (2-3 inches high) is their smaller logo, keep 1 on left side of the back of the trunk opposite the “cp-e” logo just like it is now; Color – needs to keep some combination of black or white, and blue; scroll down to the 1M Raze portion of http://1m-raze.revozport.com/index.html Smaller Logos: "cp-e Project Black Knight logo: a 2-3 inch high logo on each side of the car behind the rear wheel arch (full-color) VAC Motorsports: a 3-inch high logo centered on the front bumper, and another the same size, centered on the rear bumper http://www.vacmotorsports.com/ Toyo Tires: a 2-3 inch high logo on each side of the car above the front wheel arch (full-color) http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-r888-DOT-competition-tires Forgeline (wheels): a 2-3 inch high logo on each side of the car along the bottom of the car beginning at the forward edge of the door with PFC and Moton in a row; this will leave room for additional sponsor logos to the right of these, later on (full-color) http://www.forgeline.com/products/one-piece-monoblock/cf1.html PFC (brakes): a 2-3 inch high logo on each side of the car (full-color) http://www.performancefriction.com/ Moton (suspension): a 2-3 inch high logo on each side of the car (full-color) http://www.ast-suspension.com/
Remember: think medieval "Black Knight", racecar, mean, fast, and possibly comic-book hero We want this car to SCREAM attention at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas in November. Attached are pics of what the car looks like now.
