We sell electrical equipment and supplies to large industrial facilities and to utilities. We are strictly business-to-business sales.We are in a highly competitive market, and need to stand out from the pack, but in a professional way. We are a mature business that sells in the Philadelphia region. We have been in business since 1919.
In conjunction with a new marketing program, we had a new logo designed (by 99designs bidder Stefan Pavel).
I want to create a very professional stationary package around the logo. The voice of the design should be professional, contemporary, bold, memorable, remarkable, uncluttered and organized. I want a business card and letterhead that will stand out on a cluttered desk, yet one that gives a confidence to the customer that Royal Electric is purely professional.
The audience for this package is primarily composed of electrical engineers, senior electricians, procurement professionals and higher level business executives such as CFOs.
The winning designer will provide printshop-ready files for a business card, letterhead and mailing envelope.
(1) A 3-1/2" x 2", two-sided business card in an either horizontal or vertical layout. A diecut design is acceptable. The reverse should have space for note-taking.
(2) An 8-1/2" x 11" letterhead.
(3) A #10 business envelope.
The sample business card will present the following information (longest name is used for the example) and the files must be editable so we can create personal cards for our 15 salespeople:

The winning design is to use royalty-free for commercial use fonts. The font used in the logo is Luxi-Sans. The blue in the logo is PMS 2758. The Gold is a gradient from PMS 130 at the bottom to PMS 136 at the top.
The winning designer will additionally specify:
(1) The name and link to any additional royalty-free for commercial use fonts used in the design,
(2) The Pantone values for all colors used,
(3) Dimensional values for any die-cuts.
