RDein1 got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
DESIGN A SHIRT FOR A COLLEGE STUDENT ORGANIZATION THAT WANTS TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Check out RDein1's T-shirt contest…
Some ideas that could possibly be incorporation into the design include an earth, interdisciplinary (somehow)(program is not just engineers, but all disciplines required), connecting the planet together, creating a sustainable future, puzzles, and the 14 Grand Challenges: http://www.engineeringchallenges.org/challenges.aspx This is the programs website at UMBC, where the student org is located. https://gcsp.umbc.edu/ We are not looking for a shirt with a large square print on it. We desire a design that subtly shows what we stand for.
We want to incorporate the values of the Grand Challenges Scholars Program. Here is the best description of what they stand for as well as colors we use: http://www.engineeringchallenges.org/GrandChallengeScholarsProgram.aspx#tabs Must have the "Grand Challenge Scholar Program" with the puzzle piece on the front of the shirt, possibly in the upper left portion, like where a company logo normally is on a polo shirt. The logo is at the top of the attached pdf title "InformationFlyer." Also on the pdf that must be on the front of the shirt somewhere, are the four symbols located on the bottom of the "InformationFlyer. " The meaning of the symbols does not need to be included but are person, leaf, lock, heart and represent Joy of Living, Sustainability, Security, and Health It would probably be nice to include UMBC somewhere on the shirt.
What to avoid
slander, curse words, large colored images that take up the whole shirt.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $279.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their t-shirt.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
RDein1 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
