Community & Non-Profit
The mission of FPWR is to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi syndrome through the advancement of research. Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic disorder which causes abnormal growth and body composition (small stature, very low lean body mass and early onset childhood obesity), hypotonia (weak muscles) at birth, insatiable hunger, extreme obesity and intellectual disability.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a t-shirt design for our 2012 One SMALL Step for Prader-Willi Syndrome campaign. The design is for both the FRONT and BACK of our event t-shirts. We are looking for one side to have a catchy design, the other side will include the title sponsor, scotiabank, and our OSS logo. Anytime the OSS logo is used, the scotiabank logo must be placed above it. We will have additional sponsor logos to place on the lower back of the shirt so please leave room for these. We expect between 2 and 5 sponsor logos to be added at a later time. To keep printing costs to a minimum, we wish to limit the design to one or two colors. The design will be printed on two different colored shirts: Sapphire Blue (see attachments) and red. Attached is the back of our shirts from our 2011 events. The logo seen on this shirt is our official One SMALL Step logo. If possible, we would like to see our website in the design. onesmallstep.fpwr.org One theme we have considered for the shirts is a “global” theme. Our walks are international events and we want to show that people are coming together from across the globe to support Prader-Willi syndrome. While we are interested in a "global" theme, we would also like to see other themes, different from the submitted sample. Designs could depict one of the following: small steps lead to big changes, there is power in the possibilities of research, we are coming together to take one small step, (please do not include these words in the design) We are excited about this contest and look forward to seeing your designs!
The target audience are parents, family and friends of those with Prader-Willi syndrome. We advocate healthy and active lifestyles.
