On our website we offer used, as well as new vehicles (cars and motorcycles). In addition, we offer our customers the full service for their vehicles. This includes making appointments for inspection or repair, as well as support for getting a financing done. Our target groups are excited fans of the brand BMW and MINI, as well as Hyundai, passionate motorcyclists, existing and new customers who are looking for a new or used vehicle. For the configuration of new vehicles we link to the website of the manufacturer.
www.bobrink.de, www.carstream.hyundai.de. These two domains will be combined under our new main domain www.bobrink-gruppe.de
The style/theme has to be a mesh up of the colors of our distributed brands. However, using the exact colors of all brands should be impossible. But the colors you choose should interact well with the brand colors.The dominating color of the web site has to be white and you have to economize the usage of non-monochrome colors. Use them as accent colors. BMW: White (#FFFFFF), Silver (#999999), Grey (#666666), Blue (#1C69D4), Black (#000000); MINI: White (#FFFFFF), Grey (#666666), Black (#000000); Hyundai: Grey 1 (#C7C9C7), Grey 2 (#646666), Blue (#00287A); If you want to place our logo on a white background, give it a shadow that the shape of our logo stays visible (see http://www.bmw.com/com/en/index.html for an example).The font could be “arial, helvetica, sans-serif”.
1. Home page (home_en.png): We want a prominent showcase area in the upper part of the home page, in which new models and events could be introduced. The logos of our traded brands (BMW, BMW Motorcycles, MINI and Hyundai) should be displayed. When you click on one of these logos a personalized home page is displayed for this brand. This page differs only in terms of content from the actual home page, not in terms of layout. E.g.: Highlighting of the manufacturer logo and different content for the showcase area. A presentation of our office locations on the home page is mandatory. 2. Search results page (used_en.png): By doing a search request or clicking on "Used cars" you end up on the search results page. Here you have the possibility to refine your search results. It’s important to be able to highlight a vehicle as a special or reduced offer. The size of the thumbnails should be measured relatively generous (don’t make them too small). 3. Detail page of a vehicle (detail_en.png) There should be a gallery for photos and videos. The thumbnails should be relatively big, too. The areas “location & contact” and “business hours” should be placed in a prominent way and the user must be able to make a request for the vehicle at any time. At a minor prominent place, similar or related vehicles should be displayed. 4. New vehicles - model series (1er_en.png) On this page once again a showcase area is used to introduce new models. In addition, this page should list all available model series for all manufacturers and by clicking on one of these models, show all variants like Coupe or convertible (in this case BMW 1 series). You could use an accordion for this issue (see wireframe), but you are free to make other suggestions. 5. Locations & contacts (no wireframe provided) Here we want you to be creative. The goal is to present our five office locations with the particular contact persons. It would be nice to have some kind of grouping for the specific teams like “sales” or “service”. You could find our current location presentation at http://bobrink.de/index.php?id=43, to have some content to play with. The business hours for every location should be available as well.
What to avoid
We want a high quality and respectable company presentation. "Playful" elements should be used with caution.
The presentation of the brands should be done equally. No brand should be more or less highlighted as the other ones. The presentation of the Bobrink Group should be the focus.
