ste.grider got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Create a beautiful website for promoting online courses in web development.
Check out ste.grider's Web page design contest…
Creator of online courses teaching web and mobile development using various technologies. Target audience is tech-savvy students aged 18 to 30 who are looking to get better at developing dynamic web pages.
See the attached image and balsamiq mockups. The image has some coloring that I really, really like, and I absolutely love the diagonal break in the header. The balsamiq mockups should be used strictly as a guide! Please do not just apply color/style to those and call it a day - I'm looking for you to provide your own personal touch to the flow of the site.
Please refer to balsamiq mockup provided. Everything needs to drive users towards either entering their email address or purchasing a course. There should be a good number of CTA's all over the place. The landing page needs a lot more content on it than there is currently. I want there to be the 4 questions buttons that a user clicks high
Please do not just color in the provided mockups - be sure to add in content where you think appropriate, and feel free to alter as you see fit. I'm specifically interested in designs that are *different* than the mockup! Remember that this is a site to market to techie people. Focusing on modern trends is awesome. The courses that will be posted on this site are listed here: https://www.udemy.com/user/sgslo/. All the same course images + descriptions will likely be used on this new site, so feel free to carry text/images over as you wish.
