Custom Tattoo Design Site Needs Homepage!

We are two entrepreneurs building a portfolio of sites and this one we are truly passionate about.

This is essentially a 99designs.com but for people looking for a Tattoo rather than a company logo or website design.
Our audience consists of people looking to get a tattoo designed for them but aren't exactly sure how they want it to look so they will come to our site to get a range of designs with different ideas, concepts, elements, colors, and more...Our designers just like this amazing website 99designs will give their own individualistic twist on the design.
Requirements
The winning designer will be required to submit one index (home page) in .psd files.
We want the design to be sharp, clear, simple, but still have some personality. We would rather stay away from too much of the typical tattoo images like skulls and all that stuff but there still should be something that lets users know it's a custom tattoo site.
I'm attaching a .GIF file with what the layout should look something like. If you have experience with usability and feel something should be moved around feel free to give it a shot.
I'm also attaching the logo which we had done on 99designs. I'm not 100% on the red so don't feel like you have to create the rest of the site colors around that red. This is copyrighted so you cannot use this for personal use.
Background Color: think light colors would work best but I'm open to seeing anything else. Whites, Grays.
Site Colors should be darker, colors that people would probably use for a tattoo would be ideal.
Entries must also be royalty free and not infringe other works (eg. existing trademarks or copyrights).
