Brendon S got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Fresh Design for Management Rights Sales site

Real Estate & Mortgage
MRSales are brokers for management-rights. When you build a hotel or resort, you’ll often sell the “management rights” to someone else, who will take on the responsibility of managing the property. These management rights have different value according to the size of the resort/accommodation, rental income, etc. These management rights can be onsold at any time, along with the associated real estate (Manager usually buys a unit in the resort.)
You’ll be designing the homepage for our new site. It should show the overall design, with key elements like header, sidebar, content area, and footer. Design style should mesh with the logo. We’ll be building this site in WordPress, so would prefer a consistent header/sidebar/footer style that we can use on all pages of the site. The client is very, very keen on a clean design with lots of white space. Our current site is located at www.mrsales.com.au, and you can lift information/content from there to use in your design. There should be a segment for: * a hero shot that’ll rotate through to the next hero shot (wording on shown hero shot to be "Management Rights Specialists"), * Property Search Facility that includes: Property ID Location Business Type Letting Type Price Sort By (latest listings, price ascending, price descending as per current) We'd like the header to contain logo and the wording "Management Rights & Resorts Specialists Servicing Qld, NSW & Vic" and to have a "View Shortlist" (visitors will be able to add property for sale to their short list) link. Top Level Navigation: Home For Sale Selling Buying Industry Resources Your Team Contact Us Sidebar should contain: Newsletter Signup form Text box with some generic text - ie, Positions Vacant, or Seminar Information Industry trust logos (see graphics trust-logo-1 and 2) Video Under the hero shot we're envisaging an intro heading and text. Then maybe under that - as long as it doesn't get too busy - we'd like Featured Property Listings, where we’ll list 2-3 properties. No problem if you don't put properties here. Like I said, client is very keen for lots of white space. Each listing should contain a name, price, photo, a link to “read more”, and some key information like the property location & type. See listings on current site for this information.
Our target audience has money, and is already looking for management rights. Our site should be trustworthy and professional.
