RadioFlag is a web and smart phone-based software application that filters broadcast content on terrestrial, satellite and internet radio, by searching the sound waves in real time and delivering to you the live interviews, information, news and entertainment you desire.
Conventional search engines only search documents while at its core, RadioFlag monitors live radio and surfaces live streams to stations playing what you want to hear.
The target audience for RadioFlag is men and women between the age of 18 and 54 that listen to terrestrial, satellite and internet radio.
RadioFlag is a young startup creating a unique search engine built around radio and social media. The web design for this application should be simple, fresh and encompass web 2.0 principals. The design should have it's own identity, we are not looking for Twitter or Facebook clones. The design should allow users to socialize around radio by searching for content and creating "Flags" about it in real time as it’s being broadcast. A “Flag” is a bookmark for radio that can be shared allowing other users to identify content they also might be interested in. Searching and Flagging radio content is the cornerstone of the RadioFlag service and will provide a mechanism for users to socialize around radio.
