How Anewbigging started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Affordable Burials and Cremations
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Affordable Burials and Cremations was created to provide the public with an affordable alternative to the “Traditional Funeral”. Perfect for families who are looking for an affordable, uncomplicated option when dealing with the death of a loved one.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Clean, intuitive, not cluttered, white space, current day, not gloomy, focused on the logo, earthy, green, calming, no cartoons, serene, hi res beautiful pictures.
I just need the homepage (to start) it needs to contain the information in the current one http://www.abc-toronto.com/
but it needs to be pretty. I'd like my leaf logo to be very prominent.
earth inspired, calming in nature, classy, high end.
Here is my other try at the homepage, its ugly too but has the correct information.
The guarantee and the pictures of the payment options must be included in the final.
Instead of "Toronto's most affordable option" the new tag line is going to be "honouring your loved one doesn't have to be expensive"
What to avoid
nothing too dark, no real use of red, no cartoons, no clutter, not cheesy.
nothing stuffy or old school. no music.
I'm trying to appeal to a younger crowd who are value conscious and who don't want the stuffy traditional old school way of doing things.
I am attaching a number of versions of my logo. in the final design id like the "a division of broadcorp" removed. (its at the bottom of the logo).
I did original pick "wedding service" because there wasn't a "funeral Service" selection to be made. I think ironically we are fairly close though.
