Community & Non-Profit
MinAksjon is a crowdsourcing site to help raise funds for relief and aid work, missions and other charities. The mechanism is moving the initiative to private individuals using social media instead of the old push paradigm of doing fund raising.
www.mailchimp.com www.groupon.com Norwegian Postal service: www.posten.no http://www.squarespace.com/ The solution in the top of this page could be cool to show sub-brands and to navigate between them: http://actashop.cornersocial.com/
This is how the sites will work: You go to the site, you make your personal fund-raising campaign, choose 1 or 2 charitable causes that will receive all donations, you write a pitch to have your friends donate, and you post your campaign on Facebook, Twitter etc. Your friends will then go there to donate, and possibley to start their own campaigns. It can be compared to www.fundedbyme.com, but in our project ALL causes that can receive funds are pre-approved from large charities. We hope to get organizations like Red Cross and Salvation Army on board :-) The campaign owner will never get the money for him/herself. Everything goes directly to the charities. All sites will be in Norwegian language, and we have 4 different brands that are tied together: - Master brand: MinAksjon (with domain www.minaksjon.no) - meaning: My Action or My Campaign - Sub brand: MinBursdag (with domain www.minbursdag.no) - meaning: My Birthday - Sub brand: MinJulegave (with domain www.minjulegave.no) - meaning: My Christmas Present - Sub brand: BryllupsPresang (with domain www.bryllupspresang.no) - meaning Wedding Present So, we will have four portals that will be closely tied together. We want designs for each of the home pages for these 4, and we want a inside page for an active campaign based on the master brand MinAksjon. 5 pages in total. More work MIGHT come later, but this is what is included in the first installment. The 4 homepages will essentially be the same - with the master brand home page more generically styled, while the other three are themed with Birthday, Christmas and Wedding. Check out the attached logos for inspiration. The site is open both to secular projects and Christian run projects, but should have no specific religious symbols or connotations apart from what you can find in the logos and names. The following should be in every homepage: - Logo/name - Each of the sites should have a sales pitch - maybe on top of a themed picture. I guess like 100-150 words. - Button: "Lage min egen aksjon" (Meaning: "Create my own campaign") - Visual donation stats for the day and the week - Top campaigns (list of 5 with name and image) - Top bar (see references) to switch among the 4 sites - Footer with info like: address, about us, contact us, copyright and our corporate logo (Kommunion AS) - "Ser du etter en kampanje?" "Søk her" - meaning: "Looking for a campaign?" "Search here" - "Se våre prosjekter" (meaning: Browse our causes) - a list of causes with name, images, abstracts and some tags. - The four websites should have a "pitch" right on the front page. - The sites should have the option of two blog style entries at the bottom to highlight previous success stories with the fund raising The 5th page is a campaign page. It should contain: - Logo/name - Top bar (see references) to switch among the 4 sites - Title (+ supertitle and subtitle) - Name of campaign holder - Top image and floating images - Abstract - Body - Slideshow - video - Info about the 1 or 2 causes connected to this campaign: title, abstract, image, read more. - Button: "Gi en gave" - meaning: Give a gift - Button: "Lage min egen aksjon" (Meaning: "Create my own campaign") - List of donations already given with name, amount, greetings and thank you notes from the campaign owner. - Overview of how long the campaign will run and what the target amount is - Status of how much is collected so far (number and graph/meter) - Share on Facebook - Tweet - Share on G+
