New website design wanted for Visionary Educational Service

New Educational Web Site Design from Scratch:
** Please read the following carefully before placing a bid! **

Required: Professionally-designed, brand new web site created to attract new customers, who will purchase my educational consultancy services (Math and English tutoring, test preparation, etc.), typically for their children, via the web site.

No I do not; a new domain registration is required for this new web site launch!

- You need to be able to patiently work with me over the next week or two in order to develop, gradually refine and eventually perfect the content (with a focus on my work samples, i.e., documents illustrating "teaching reports"), the scheduling portals/mechanism (how to best work create a scheduling system, even if partially automatic), and the interactive communications system through the web site.

It would be fantastic if you had previous experience launching new/start-up web sites, though this isn't required. It would be even better if you had experience in education, but again it is certainly not mandatory.

I do need someone with excellent taste and a strong creative/artistic sense to work with me (I have a degree in Information Technology and I am currently reading the book by Ani Phyo called RETURN ON DESIGN: Smarter Web Design That Works -- which I think is excellent) on how to best structure/design the site to maximize the greatness of the user experience!

*You should know how also to generate traffic/market the site to the largest audience possible--this is needed.

I have already written most of the content--it still needs to be structured/organ ized within the framework of the web site!--the logo is concurrently in development as another project on this web site (possible choice attached as image, though that is not confirmed), but I need you to go through all the steps of requirements gathering, identifying site content/site structures, design, workflows/site mapping (if needed), layout ideas, development, testing, enhancing, etc. I really need an expert for this project!

If you are interested in, say, a web site I think might serve as a very loose model, please let me know -- in any case, the winner will need to be willing to be in much back-and-forth communication with me as the site design and implementation proceeds.

Lastly, I need also the domain registration (which I checked - possible 2 sites) done, and if you know anything about online educational/instructional software (e.g., which online tools are the best for sharing screens, jotting down notes, equations, etc.) that would be helpful - please let me know.

The web site has to satisfy these characteristics:

- extraordinarily original and high quality, powerful, compelling, attractive, clean, simple

- store front-like in appearance and usability, welcoming, pleasant, benevolent

- easy to use: a very high level of usability and interactivity -- "stickiness"

- demonstrates the value of my educational service based on featuring my company's mission statement, philosophy, course offerings, and especially past samples of my work, with testimonials of previous students/clients.

- Above all: achieves the overall objective of connecting customers, including prospective customers, to me from anywhere in the world in order to schedule an initial consultation

This is going to be at least a 1 week--probably more like 2 week--project, so you have to be very patient, have good client relation/communications/interpersonal skills, empathy, etc., in addition to having utterly fantastic design/creative/technical web site implementation skills. It is going to be a two-way street, not me just giving you orders (although I expect that to be part of it), but I envision it to be more of a dynamic product coming out of our joint collaboration and work, with much feedback from me and ideas from you as well!
