Create website design including subpages and create a complimentary logo. Logo and design need to work for business cards, banner ads, printed materials, and pdf documents. We are looking for creativity that pushes the boundaries but is still appropriate for business to business sales.
Cadpipe is a 3D design software for HVAC, piping and electrical systems in commercial buildings like offices, warehouses, schools, etc. The software is focused on the practical information to fabricate and install HVAC, pipe and electrical systems. The website and logo should reflect the construction industry, and possibly integrate construction, buildings, sheet metal, pipes and electrical items and equipment throughout the site.
Our current website is cluttered. We want a more KISS (keep it simple stupid) approach that also communicates the practical focus of constructing a building in a limited amount of time. It is important that the free software download is easy to identify throughout the website. We also want the Cadpipe website to look different, newer and more creative than our competitors. One idea would be to have a 3D model of a building on the main page and when people pick on the different systems (HVAC, pipe and electrical) they are taken to the detailed information for that software. Here are two links to competitor sites:
Our current web site is http://www.cadpipe.com. You can build off of this. Let us know if you need anything from us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Relate the site to Construction, Buildings, Sheet Metal, Pipes…etc.- Convey results- Integrate a visit counter (how many people visited the site) somehow into the site creatively- The logo and the website need to compliment eachother.- The website needs to be clear and concise
- Cartoons, ultra modern, lack of elegance, primary colors, unbusinesslike, too cluttered- Flash. Keep it functional.
