The thevdex.com is a national interactive media-rich business search platform. We have spent the last 2+ years working on a CMS that supports our national business search, video production admin, customer support admin, social environment and our daily deal platform. Now we are moving into our final stage of the project which requires a solid design before we start our national advertising campaign.
We are targeting everyone in the domestic United States, which includes businesses and consumers."Think" yelp meets youtube meets linkedin.
Our goal is to have a uniform and unique design that anyone would automatically associate if they saw it on print, TV, or the internet. We have 4 major page templates that need to have a nice transition feel to them. Please visit thevdex.com to review our functionality and current logo design. We are open to different colors, icons, styles, and fonts that are representative of a high transaction, major search engine / business search environment.
One main design concept is to keep it "clean"!
Please contact us if you need logos or any other information that would help you in your design.
Also, give note to the search results page icons that are present to the right of each business listing. These indicate whether a business has a video, social environment, daily deal, and / or images. Also, under the businesses address info is a comment "notifier". Both the comments and the other icons need to have an "on' and "off" look to them.
PLEASE SUBMIT ALL RENDERINGS "WITHOUT" THE ADVERTISER BANNER / TOWER AD ON THE FRONT PAGE.
Search Results (to get to the results page - for those outside the U.S. - enter a city and state in America and select / hit a quick launch search button. This will take you to the results page and the subsequent pages (listing page & social area) can be accessed from there.
