Create fresh and premium website redesign for Online Business Academy

Wirtschaft lernen leicht gemacht (Learning Business made easy)

I have an online academy where I sell online courses for exam preparations for students of business-related studies. Some are University students and some are students from vocational schools. These students do an apprenticeship to work in an office for example.
My students are between 18 and 25 years old; only few are older.

The topics at the moment only include Accounting and Cost Accounting, but there will be more in the future. At the moment we have 2 paid courses and 2 free courses.

Every course consists of videos, multiple-choice-questions and other kind of questions, a forum where people can ask questions and an eBook, which contains all the exercises from the videos. The course attendees can print the eBook and do all the exercises parallel to the videos.

My logo consists of a comic figure which looks like me. This figure should lead the customer through the page. My online course in accounting uses storytelling and is partly made with comic style animations from “Vyond” (https://www.vyond.com). Therefore, I would like to have a comic style website, which has to be young and fresh but has to be premium at the same time. I DON´T want a standard academy website with lots of stock photos. It has to be unique! There are enough boring accounting websites on the market.

The website consists of the Learning Management System “WPLMS” (https://wplms.io). Please have a look on this page to make sure that you keep the possible limitations in mind.

It is essential that the page looks good on desktop and smartphones as well. It hast to be responsive. Therefore, it would be great if you could use sliders. “Slider Revolution” is already integrated in the theme and can be used.

Your job is to create the homepage of the academy. If someone comes to the page he or she should have the feeling, that it is a premium academy.

I don´t have an imagination yet how the page should look like.

Maybe we can start with the name “Wirtschaft lernen leicht gemacht” and /or the logo on the top. You could use a picture or a slider. It should be possible to integrate my menus, which are already on the page. At the moment there is a search element as well. You can delete it, because it is not necessary.

Then we could have an area, where we show the different kinds of membership. Every course offers 3 kinds of membership: Basic, Premium and Deluxe. Therefore, I need a table, which compares the 3 memberships so that the customer can see what he gets when the buys a membership and how much he has to pay.

Then a slider with testimonials would be great.

Then we need an area where we present our free membership and tell the customer, that he can get a short introductory course for accounting and cost accounting for free if he registers on the page. We also need a button, which leads him to the registration page.

In the end we need an area, where we show the different categories (accounting and cost accounting). The customer can click on them and get to the corresponding page (like it is at the moment).

I am not sure about this structure. Maybe we can change something or make it completely different. I think you have more experience and ideas in these topics so feel free and make some adjustments or suggestions.

No Dropdown-Menus.

What´s most important is, that the design has to fit to a young target group of men and women between 18 and 25 years old. It has to be young, fresh and premium. Not childish! The page has to be responsive, in order to look good on desktop and on mobile devices.
