The central imagine of my novel is a house of cards. My main character, whose name is Henry, is very sad about moving away from the house he's lived in all his life. He's so sad, and so alone in his new house, that he's built an exact replica of his old house in his imagination. It's three stories tall and Henry has furnished it just like his old house. He calls it his Memory Palace.
Henry is also a magician. He loves card tricks.
