A poster concept for a play about the years 'lost' whilst raising a family. The writer of the play wanted to show the two protagonists – husband and wife – dressed in safari hats to suggest that they're on an expedition searching for their 'lost years'. Instead of placing the couple in a jungle, I surrounded them with baby paraphernalia and overgrown lawn to suggest a domestic 'jungle'. The type is distressed to emphasise that the couple has aged over the years of child rearing and the colours chosen give the poster a slightly vintage look.
