Growing up, I was the pencil and paper type; attempting to impress my latest crush with subpar portraiture. I joined a band in my Senior year of high school and those interests turned toward my desktop. I worked on our website and merchandise, shopping my "skills" out to friends who had gone into ministry with local youth groups. As my designs improved, so did my opportunities. I've now worked from home as a contract designer here in Oklahoma for the last 8 years.
