You need some 'short' version for your branding. I engage the two characters 'JB' in one fantasy pattern.
I love the simple lines, which are 2016 design trends, and the simple shapes. This will work great on small applications :)
Font: The font which i used is simple line based font, which 'endorse the fantasy pattern.
The target group are young girls and their mums. The young ladies need to see one simple but modern logo, which they will trust. Because they are building their style, so they need to know that this is stylish and unique. The same effects works on their mums, the color, the simple font, and the line will remind them some famous brands, and this will encourage them to take a look and to buy something special.")

Colors: Light grey and flat red magenta shades (of course we can try another color combinations as well)
Hashtag icon - I worked on this, if you take a look, there is not empty 'hole in # symbol. I added it to the two location indicators (flue flat colors) which are connected to 'heart' shape.
This shows Usage of hashtags -

- Location pop up indicators - traveling
- Heart - good connection - spread the love :)
- I add some white outline over the two location point indicators - so now we have also the comment/chat bubble effect :) Which also indicates the communication between the users/world places.")
