The book targets young professionals and management students and gives a holistic insight on how to integrate mobile IT into an organization. We use the St.Gallen Business Engineering Model to guide our approach and structure the book. In the (1) introduction, we discuss the basic terms, latest trends (consumerization of IT, etc.) and upcoming challenges. The book then proceeds with chapters on (2) strategy, (3) business processes, (4) technology, (5) cultural issues, and finally the (6) transformation of the business. For each chapter we present case studies of companies including adidas, Audi, Lufthansa, Swiss Re, and SBB. The approach presented in this book is mainly targets medium-sized and large corporations. The book cover should therefore make a professional impression and attract management students and young professionals.
The book is written in German and will be sold on iTunes / iBooks as an ebook with media elements (the case studies are included as video interviews with representatives from the concerning companies). It would be best if the book cover fits the resolution of an iPad. The book will be listed as a publication of the “Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik, Universität St.Gallen”. Attached to this contest is the logo of the institute, which should be used on the book cover.
The subtitle is more or less a working title. Therefore it would be great to get a file format in which we can edit the title.
